The Gibson Nighthawk is one of the most underrated and versatile models in Gibson’s lineup, and this 20th Anniversary Reissue is an exceptional example of why it deserves more attention. With its slightly offset body shape, longer 25.5” scale length, and unique pickup configuration, this guitar offers a completely different playing experience compared to a traditional Les Paul or SG.
 
The Fireburst finish over the AAA flamed maple top looks absolutely stunning, with deep, rich hues that make the figuring pop. The rosewood fingerboard is smooth and fast, and the 20th Anniversary inlay adds a touch of exclusivity. The slim taper neck profile feels comfortable and familiar, making this an easy-playing guitar for a variety of styles.
 
Tonally, the trio of pickups provides an incredible range of sounds. The mini humbucker in the neck is warm and articulate, the single coil in the middle offers glassy, Strat-like tones, and the slanted bridge humbucker delivers powerful, cutting tones with plenty of bite. The coil-splitting push/pull tone knob expands the tonal range even further, making this one of the most versatile Gibsons ever made.
